In 2012 the Justin Civic Foundation President Tod Siedell and Treasurer Charlotte Moore presented a check for $1,000 Scholarship to Kim Schultz, Director of the Northwest ISD Education Foundation.  The NISD Education Foundation handles the application and selection process for the schlorship award to a 2012 graduating senior.

The recipient of the 2012 Scolarship is Matthew Marxer, a graduating Senior from Byron Nelson High School.  Matthew is a National Honor Society Senior Member and is an Advanced Placement Scholar.  He received National Merit Scholarship Commended Student, Texas Scholar, and Senior Link Leader Awards.
